The Nolan home is a straw bale, timber frame structure.  After helping them get the frame up, bale walls installed and rough coats of plaster on, Michelle and Joe called on us to begin putting together the interior elements and finishes. They had been collecting old sinks, cabinets, doors, tiles, mirrors and other wonderful and charming materials that they wanted to see incorporated into their new home.  Together, and with the help of many crafts and trades people, we created a natural, casual, warm and inviting atmosphere with old farmhouse charm.
